a dream is about to come true
thought the day would never come
still unsure if it’s truly happening
too self-conscious to picture the moment
the sense of rush gushing through me
with the dream almost in reach
and my heart unable to catch up with
all the changes occurring around me
totally oblivious to my complex emotions
the little life inside me
is just about to fly away
from a pool of safety
to the world of unknown

夢が叶おうとしている
何度も無理かと思った
本当に現実なのかまだ少し怖くて
その瞬間を思い描くことが何だか照れくさくて
手が届きそうではやる気持ちと
変化に追いつけないままの心と
そんな自分に臆することなく
身体の中にいる小さな命は
今にも知らない世界に
飛び出そうとしている
